    Description

    This is an antique, heart-shaped, cut crystal and sterling silver (marked) vanity jar or trinket box with a repouss
    é
    design on the top and a fancy engraved letter F monogram. It is marked "Sterling Pat'd 703" and has the Foster & Bailey maker's mark of F&B in a flag (see close-up in 2nd photo).  The jar is 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches, 1 3/4 inches high, and weighs 130.5 grams.  It is in excellent antique condition: the cut glass jar has no nicks or chips; however, the top has tiny dings and light scratches.  Note: the glass is clear, not yellowed.
