    Description

Catenary Video Productions VHS "Pacific Electric Remembering the Red Cars" 3 Vol
Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
This Three volume VHS set comprises complete coverage of the 3 districts of the great Pacific Electric Interurban Electric Railway
system as it was in the late 1940's up to the abandonment in the 1960's. See the photos of the cassette cases for details of the
material included on these tapes.  Approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes of viewing time is included, in which you will see mostly
color, some black and white scenes from film of the 1940's and into the 1960's. There are PCC's, Hollywood Cars, freight trains,
Racetrack specials, New Year's Rose Parade specials, maps of the various districts covered, lots of action on main and suburban
trackage, Main Street Station, yard and maintenance facilities included. Good quality audio narration, theatre organ music, live sound
of train movement, widescreen presentation of reasonable quality video, considering the age of some of the original film footage,
the famous PE "Trombone " whistle that was on all the cars, with the sound that all Angelinos of that time remember.
Tapes stored in pet free, dust free, smoke free environment
