Delrin Anti backlash Silent Nut,  T8x8 or T8x4 or T8x2 For Lead Screws
Main feature of a Delrin Anti-Backlas Nut: Silent. Unlike brass nut, Delrin nut hardly make any noticeable noise.
Tighter tolerance
. Delrin nuts have tighter tolerance than brass nuts both in radial and axial direction. In some cases, the main/front nut could be used alone to provide satisfactory accuracy.
Delrin is self lubricating, so it is not necessary to immediately lubricate the lead screw when installing this anti backlash nut, unlike brass which should be immediately lubricated. However the plastic will dry out over use/time so after a year we recommend a little lubrication be applied to the lead screws to extend the life of the nut.
How to tell which type you need. Take your lead screw, mark a point on it and then screw your existing nut to that mark. Rotate the screw one complete turn and stop. Take a metric ruler and measure how far the nut has traveled during that turn, 2mm, 4mm or 8mm. If 2mm then you need a T8x2. If 4mm An T8x4. Finally 8mm you need a T8x8.

The nut could be easily trimmed or cut by a hand saw or even a hot knife making it much easier to modify or any application.
