Listing revision; with newer software, I'm able to combine the Montfort-Fennimore route AND the "Dinky" ROW on a single disc. The 30 minute "trip" is a RARE look at the line as seen in the 1930's!
Starting in Fennimore and going East to Madison, Wisconsin we pass Lancaster Junction where a separate DVD video of the branch line to Stitzer and Lancaster, Wisconsin is available. Back up on the main, we pass Preston and Montfort, Wisconsin. This trip ends at Montfort Junction where a branch to Platteville, Wisconsin and Galena, Illinois connects (DVD available- See Other Items). Also at Platteville, a DVD of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St Paul & Pacific (Milwaukee Road) to Calamine, Wisconsin will be available soon.
Much of the right of way of the "Ridgerunner Line" is now part of the Military Ridge State Trail.
The rest of the journey to Madison and beyond (including links to passing rail lines) are on our DVDs as well.
Each VOLUME (each "trip" is an individual Volume. 6 total initially) has 2 separate Chapters/Videos;
-The Eastbound trip (as seen on YouTube) with captions for passing towns and landmarks including identifying other rail lines, and the sound of moving rail cars on jointed rail (recorded and edited from Class 1 branch lines).
-A Westbound trip between the same end points.
Some Volumes will contain 2 or more DVDs depending on duration or length of the journey.
These videos use historic photos "in motion" following the railroad right of way.
Duration was set to very roughly approximate the travel times from timetables of the era.
Dates in captions at end-points were taken from the single frame.
Sound includes a short "1930's" Jazz theme on the DVD Menu only.
To accompany the "motion" videos, the sound of rail cars slowly traversing a Class 1 branch line in rural Illinois is heard.
The DVDs are suitable for Zoom, Freeze Frame and Speed options on most DVD players.
Discs are burned Region0 (playable anywhere in the world)
DVDs may be sent in
jewel case
rather than a 5x7" case w/ cover art depending on availability and shipping time. Upon request, the 5x7' case w/ cover art (but minus another DVD) can be sent later when available.

These have been a rewarding projects, but personal reasons prevent me from doing the work for the foreseeable future.
By the end of 2020, I expect to be out of inventory of all my approximately 45 DVDs, both of contemporary railroading as shot on VHS in the 1980s-90s and the USDA Aerial compilations.
