. You remove the 000 and replace it with the size you choose! Very simple process - instructions are good. The yellow 000 0.18 marking will still be there on the shaft. You can remove or write over it. The nib near the tip does identify the nib size near the threads but marking is very very small.
If you just want the 000 size pen then go to my other auction and you can buy a new 000 pen for less money.
