Description
This includes a National Instruments PCI-6259 Multifunction DAQ board (PCI edge), two high density cables (68 pin), and two breakout (terminal) boards. The terminal boards are the SCC-68 with the optional slots for adding signal conditioning modules.I used this hardware for an old LabVIEW project and don't need it anymore.
To test, I plugged the DAQ board into a PCI expansion chassis (not included) and tested with NI MAX on Windows 11. Looped the AO output back into the AI for channels ai0 and ai16 and sampled a sinewave from the AO channels at 1.25 MS/sec. Also ran the self test and internal calibration. Everything runs great! See the two screenshots of the sinewave.
I kept the the jumper cables installed just in case you want to run the same tests when you receive it.
Here some basic specs on the PCI-6259 hardware. You can find more on the NI website.
32 Analog Inputs (16-Bit, 1.25 MS/s)
7 programmable input ranges (±100 mV to ±10 V) per channel
4 Analog Outputs (2.8 MS/s)
48 TTL/CMOS digital I/O lines (up to 32 hardware-timed at 10 MHz)
Analog and digital triggering
Two 32-bit, 80 MHz counter/timers
X1, X2, or X4 quadrature encoder inputs
