When used in combination with the Olympus dedicated flushing pump and CV-160 video system center, a continuously clear view is ensured by an auxiliary water function that removes mucus and stool inside the colon at the touch of a switch on the scope.
Extra-wide 140° field of view and extensive 4-way angulation (180° up/down and 160° right/left). 3.7 mm diameter channel can handle a wide range of treatment requirements and provides high suction capability even when forceps are being used.
Ergonomically designed grip enhances scope maneuverability while redesigned easy-to-access knobs and user-selectable switches improve operability.
Fully compatible with the CV-160/140.
Scope ID function stores individual scope information and displays it on the monitor to facilitate endoscopy suite management.

Olympus CLV-160 Video Light Source in excellent condition ready for surgery.
This Olympus CLV-160 is the second to last generation of light sources by Olympus designed to maximize the capabilities of the Evis Exera 160 scopes featuring a powerful 300W xenon lamp with an improved condenser achieving nearly 30% more light intensity than the CLV-U40 which.  It provides sufficient brightness even when retroflexing the scope tip.  With its improved light adjustments it provides for appropriate brightness even when observing at extremely close ranges.  The CLV-160 is 35% smaller than the previous generation light source CLV-U40 and it also includes simple membrane switches and an emergency 100W Halogen lamp.
The CLV-160 light source is compatible with conventional Olympus color CCD videoscopes and fiberscopes as well as the Evis Exera Bronchoscopes.  It will work with most of the 180, 140, 130 and 100 series scopes.

This Olympus CV-160 is the second to last generation of video processors by Olympus designed to maximize the capabilities of the Evis Exera 160 scopes with high resolution images, improved color reproduction and larger display size. It also features an improved video signal processing enabling observation of minute details without increasing noise for more accurate treatment, full height mode using the full vertical area of the monitor screen, 35% more compact that previous models and newly designed keyboard.
The CV-160 can also be used with Evis Exera Bronchoscopes as well many of the 180, 140, 130 and 100 scopes. It includes a scope ID function for the 160 and 180 scopes and the ability to capture images directly into a computer.
