    Description

    ONE BEAUTIFUL PRISTINE ROLL
    OF
    2009
    PHILADELPHIA
    "PRESIDENCY IN
    WASHINGTON (PW)"
    CENTS, FROM LP4
    MINT
    WRAPPED
    ROLLS
    AND
    INSERTED IMMEDIATELY
    INTO
    *
    CoinSafe inert collector's
    archival
    tubes
    which are
    a
    retail
value costing up to .99 each!
The wrapping paper for the Mint rolls
    over time sometimes
imparts a rainbow-like "toning" to the end coins
    in some
of these rolls, which is highly regarded by many
    collectors
who search for and collect these varieties
    exclusively.
    The
PHILADELPHIA PW cents series had the distinction of
    being the
    LOWEST MINTAGE
    OF ALL EIGHT RE
    VERSE
    DESIGNS of 2009 LINCOLN CENTS!
    As a
    rarer issue
in 2009, BU examples directly from these Mint
Box rolls were a good source to purchase and find very high
grade MS examples of the PW cents, handled less than bank-
    wrapped rolls.
    Doubled
    die
    reverse
    and obverse errors
    have also been
    discovered in these rolls! Many
    die cracks, chips, clashes
    and other interesting
    anomalies
have also been found in these
PW rolls, along with some very high grade MS examples. These
rolls contain some really beautifully fully struck "BU" cents.
As with all cents minted in 2009, some coins are spotted and
stained due to Mint handling and cleaning procedures.  Some
    of the
    MINT-packaged
    rolls contain "end-of-roll" damaged
coins, but I have found in the ones I opened that the remainder
of coins in the roll usually are beautiful pristine examples of
    Philadelphia's
    best efforts for 2009.
Reverse designs from the Denver Mint in 2009 showed weaker
strikes and more spotting from the die cleaning chemicals used
experimentally in the early half of the year.
Get out your loupe or microscope and start searching for that MS
    to submit to PCGS!
Congress voted to limit the number of small denomination coins
minted in 2009.  For this reason, it is becoming more difficult to find
2009 cents in ANY condition. Because of the four different cent
reverse designs in 2009, each of the four varieties of reverse is a
    "type coin" on it's own.
Best of luck bidding on this roll offer!
    *(As advertised in
    Numismatic News
    and in
    Coin World magazines
    ).
