This sweet condiment cooks in your popper as the popcorn pops. This glaze contains a special ingredient which bonds sugar and oil together to prevent burning! Correct use of this product requires the consumer to measure the amount of kernels and oil and hold the seasoning salt. (see Popping Instructions below)  Caramel Glaze Pop® is complete with molasses, brown sugar, and flavor for a fantastic taste.

Place popping oil and corn in HOT kettle. No Salt!
Add Glaze mix when oil is melted.
Turn kettle heat off when popping is almost completed.

Do the flavoring “mixes” come with oil and popcorn?
No, the different flavoring mixes do not include oil or popcorn. The ‘mix” is a flavoring that is added to your popcorn and oil during cooking. Coconut oil is a good oil to use with these flavoring mixes. To reduce the salty taste when using the flavoring mixes, it is best not to use “seasoning” salt during cooking. If you are using a pre-measured popcorn portion pack, (popcorn, oil, and seasoning salt all-in-one package), then try not to add the seasoning salt to your kettle.
What type of oil should I use to cook popcorn?
Choosing the correct oil will be your biggest decision. Oil affects the taste and the nutritional value of your popcorn. Manufacturers love coconut oil because it burns the cleanest, and supposedly tastes the best. If you are health-conscious however, you may want to steer clear of coconut oil and try canola oil (canola oil has a lower fat and cholesterol content). Other oils frequently used are sunflower, peanut, and soy. The best plan for choosing oil is to research the nutritional value, then trial and error to determine which tastes best to you. The only oil to avoid is vegetable oil, because it cannot stand the heat of the kettle and tends to burn and smoke, leaving a bit of a burnt taste to the popcorn.
