    Vintage 1984 Early Original Pound Puppies Dog with "Dog Pound" Crate Signed by Mike Bowling & Becky Manning with Papers. This Pup comes straight out of Cincinnati from an Formal Ford Employee that worked with Mike Bowling. This piece features originality of all the important aspects of the creator, maker and provenance. The Pup is #77 of 1000 issued December of 1984. Fabulous Condition! Adult owned. Has the COA and Even has the dated local Cincinnati Enquirer Crate Paper inside the hand die-cut crate. Pup is Buff with dark brown hand-painted spots, hand stitched and

    This piece is RARE. HOW RARE? There were only 1200 1st Editions planned and 1000 2nd Editions. I have not been able to find any early 2nd Editions numbered over 300. This Pup is #77 and was issued in Dec 1984 at the time negotiations were being made with Irwin. Upon the new year, the remaining 2nd Editions started being manufactured by Irwin and therefore, NOT ORIGINAL. If my estimate of originals made are correct, there were MAYBE 1500 Made and you can bet hundreds went in the trash as all played with plush do.

The "C-Grading System" is a system used by most dealers, retailers and appraisers to rate the condition of your Dolls and other Collectible items. We are NOT certified AFA graders. If our grade is C8+ or above we are indicating “AFA READY”. If we grade the item as C10, it is likely to get an AFA grade of 90. Designations are C-1 through C-10. C-1 is the poorest possible condition. C-10 is factory mint and NRFB (never removed from box).
