STUNNING Antique APOLLO Brass JEWELED ORMOLU Casket Trinket JEWELRY Vanity Box
Absolutely MAGNIFICENT and extremely ORNATE vanity box
Manufactured by APOLLO
Brass, highly detailed, casket / trinket box, beautiful, multi faceted, bezel set jeweled stones (probably glass)
Has 4 ball feet on bottom
Opens and closes as it should (nice strong hinge and closes securely)
Box is surrounded with copious amounts of bezel set stones in different shapes and colors, ruby red, emerald green, aqua, sapphire blue, amber, and purple amethyst, and lots of ormolu decor
ONE of the sapphire stones appears to be a replacement (a bit larger then the bezel very tight and secure)
Inside is lined in wood
A showpiece for your vanity
Nice patina on the brass
Box has not been altered or cleaned in any way since I purchased it
Wonderful condition with the exception of a teeny tiny pin dot indentation on the bottom, see picture 7
Please expect normal wear commensurate with the age of the piece
