    Description

    This "SUNSET TRANSCON" DVD from Revelation Audio-Visual documents the inaugural transcontinental westbound Amtrak Train No. 1 from Miami to Los Angeles April 4-7, 1993.
    The on-board video is combined with trackside perspectives and historical vignettes to tell the detailed story of the first revenue run of Amtrak's first coast-to-coast route, the oldest name train in the United States, the Sunset Limited.  Additional program features include Los Angeles transit operations, Mission Tower, San Diegan trains and a ride on the Southwest Chief to Chicago.  This is the 2013 revised edition of this program.

    A four-panel descriptive insert and a two-sided information sheet are included.  The information sheet has a reprint of the Amtrak schedule and a detailed summary of Sunset Limited trains and consists.
