Availability: 79 in stock
  • Knit Style: Chunky-Knit
  • Condition: Looks awesome, killer true vintage older 50's / 60's era THICK, heavy duty hand knit wool ski sweater, made in Ecuador. Despite being from South America, it's done up with the look/intention of an over the top level heavy Scandinavian type wool, like you see in old photography of free jazz stars from the 60's when they migrated to Europe. I'm pretty sure I've seen pictures of Don Cherry wearing this exact sweater. It has natural imperfections being hand knit, these are not "holes" rather just what happens when somebody truly makes a work of art like this thing is. It does have a subtle stitched up repair in the right armpit seam, not noticeable when worn, no current big holes or anything that takes away from it visually. It does have some age yellowing in some spots, as well as an old yellowed blemish or two, but MAN... you just don't find these anymore. And if you do they're quality looking throwbacks to the real thing. This is 100% the real deal.
