Vintage Brass Plastic Wall Wall Hanging Light Sconce Mid Century Modern French

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice small vintage atomic era wall hanging sconce.  Circa '50s / '60s.  It appears to be French.  We purchased this fixture along with a slew of other French fixtures that we will be listing separately.  Materials: Plastic, Brass, Metal.  The rounded white plastic shade is textured on the outside, and smooth on the inside.  It has a square shaped wire attachment on the interior which snaps directly into the light socket to hold it in place.  No manufacturer's marks or labels present that we can see.

easurements:  Approx. 9.5" tall (from the bottom of the rectangular brass plate to the top edge of the shade). Approx. 5.25" deep (with the shade attached) x 4.75" wide. (edge of shade to opposite edge of shade).
Condition: Good condition.  The brass shows some signs of discoloration / tarnishing (see photos).  Doesn't particularly detract, but we are mentioning it for accuracy.  The round textured plastic shade is in great shape - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc.  The metal attachment piece that snaps into the light socket which holds it in place is attached and in good shape.  Also, we are uncertain if this fixture works - it has not been tested.  It appears to be French, and would have to be re-wired to US standards.
