Late Art Deco era - assume German or Continental Engine Turned 835 Silver (better than coin or 800, not quite sterling or 925/1000 content) early proto plastic - possibly bakelite - assume galalith (note a few teeth marks and wear to black portion - and a shallow ding to silver) classic cigar holder - measures 2 7/8 - weighs 13.5 grams.
