VINTAGE G-E Lamps 4 pack sleeve IE-1936

Back in the day of tubed televisions and such, Detroit Edison had a bulb exchange program where you brought in your dead light bulbs and Detroit Edison gave you free replacements. Detroit Edison did charge you an annual fee of .00 for the bulb program. You still got a heck of a deal. The program was forced to stop in 1972 when a Drug Store owner took Detroit Edison to court. He said it was unfair to him that  they could give the bulbs away, which meant he could not sell his bulbs. So the Supreme Court ruled against Detroit Edison, in favor of the drug store owner. This sleeve I found in my dad's box of TV tubes, it does open up. The photos are of both sides and it does open easily. It will ship priority mail and I will sleeve this in a cardboard backer for rigidity in shipping. I remember going with my dad to Detroit Edison for the Light Bulb Exchange and I REMEMBER this brand being in the offering as well. It DOES NOT HAVE ANY LABELED SAYING IT WAS HOWEVER.
