Brand new highest quality Y adapter cable to streamline accessing the J1708/J1587 data found on your GRAY 6 pin round diagnostics connector on your heavy vehicle. Works with all diagnositcs tools. Eases installation of EOBR (electronic on-board recorders), ELD (Electronic logging devices) or any other device needing to read the J1708/J1587 data
This is especially useful on Freightliner Columbia / Century / Cascadia where diagnostic port is near seat base as it allows you to route harness to dash where you can secure your bluetooth device.
Length between gray connectors is 12"
Length between gray and black connector is 8 feet (96 inches)
One end has Deutsch HD16-6-12S-B010 6 pin GRAY plug with locking ring -
this end will connect to GRAY 6 pin your heavy truck 2005 and older.
Other end has HD10-6-96P 6 pin GRAY socket as shown in pictures above -
you can only connect cables and/or devices with GRAY 6 pin to these ends
Black end accepts ALL ElD devices and cables with the round 8 or 9 pin connector - works with either green or black
May be connected to factory connector and used to connect 2 devices/cables with Gray 6 pin plugs
For logging device/permanent install - dismount existing diagnostics connector, mount socket end on 8" leg in place and connect plug to factory diagnostics connector then connect your device to socket at end of 96" inch cable

Avoids having to tap factory wires
